What To Do In Yaletown: Dine Out VancouverPosted on January 25, 2014
Where to Eat in Yaletown
I’m sure many of you have already been out enjoying some of the amazing food that our local restaurants have put together for this year’s Dine Out Vancouver Festival. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend getting out into your neighbourhoods and checking out some of the local dining.
Next on our neighbourhood tour is bustling Yaletown. The bustling streets where the affluent go for a good time, and where people go to be seen. With a mix of high-end restaurants and family-run bistros, Yaletown is the place for those who seeking a little refinement for their tasting pleasure.
With so many great restaurants in Yaletown participating with Dine Out this year, it was hard for me to narrow down my selections to just three. Each one has it’s own charm and style, and a menu that truly showcases their talents.
Yaletown L’Antipasto – $28
Yaletown L’Antipasto is a family-run, authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Yaletown. Touted as Yaletown’s only Italian Tapas wine bar, Yaletown L’Antipasto offers a unique dining experience. This year’s Dine Out menu options include Carpaccio di Tonno, Risotto alla Pescatora, and Lavender Crème Brulee. Don’t forget to make a reservation and check out their complete Dine Out menu.
West Oak Restaurant – $38
One of my truly favourite restaurants in Yaletown is West Oak. The food and the atmosphere are perfectly paired. Located in the heart of historic Yaletown in a modern, yet rustic space West Oak delivers an exceptional menu for Dine Out this year. Truffle Cauliflower soup, Braised Lamb Shank, and Pecan Pie are just a sampling of what’s on the menu.
Caché Bistro and Lounge – $38
Yaletown’s delightful Caché Bistro & Lounge is a debut restaurant for Hong Kong born Chef Alex Mok. With a focus on French Cuisine with an Asian touch, Caché promises to be a decadent experience. The Dine Out options include Soupe à l’oignon gratinée, Pan roasted de-boned quail, and Vanilla bean gelato profiteroles. Be sure to to visit the Dine Out website for the complete menu.
